Jason "Jay" Mendoza has dedicated his career to representing Veterans through VA Disability Appeals. A proud Marine Corps veteran, Jason has firsthand knowledge of the hardships that service members face, making him uniquely qualified to advocate for fellow Veterans. He’s handled thousands of VA disability cases at all levels, recouping millions of dollars in retroactive benefits for his clients. Jason is not afraid to take on challenging cases and relentlessly pursues justice for those he serves. 

Jason is adamant that the Southwest Law Firm Team cannot be the "Jason Mendoza" show, and his dedicated Staff has proven it is not. Jason attributes the success of Southwest Law Firm to his outstanding staff, whom he credits for their intelligence, kindness, and commitment to serving the underserved.  Together, they work tirelessly to create positive, life-changing impacts on the lives of their clients. 

When not advocating for his clients, Jason enjoys peaceful and scenic areas where he can recharge and simply have quiet time.  He enjoys spending time with his wife of 26 years and their two sons. A passionate outdoorsman, he enjoys exploring new areas of Arizona and traveling to his favorite beach destination, Puerto Penasco, Mexico. Jason is also a dog dad to three Yorkies—Jax, Mia, and Lexi—and a Golden Doodle named Daisy Doodles, aka "Crazy Daisy" or "Do's-Do's."
